Attadale Residence
Maximizing views of the stunning Swan River from not only the front of this grand double storey residence, but also from the middle of the home was one of the client’s main priorities. 180 degree views were achieved by the creation of a unique floor plan and design elements, including expansive glass windows and doors to the front and middle of the home, and minimal window coverings. Stunning, glass bifold doors designed with flush floor track and no pillars open up the kitchen, dining and balcony into one expansive indoor/outdoor entertaining area and offer a seamless look and view of the river.
The home’s elegant construction elements and high end finishes were selected to create a neutral, minimalistic yet sleek look, also allowing for natural light to flow through the home. Another requirement of the client was to construct an easy maintenance home, which was accomplished by the deliberate exclusion of any ledges or grooves in the home’s design, which would collect dust or be cumbersome to clean.
